According to a growing number of reports, Premier League giants Arsenal are preparing an offer for Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.
Talented youngster
Llorente, a 22-year-old central midfielder, came up through the youth ranks in the Spanish capital, eventually being given a first-team opportunity in 2015.
However, he has since found it difficult to carve out a regular spot for himself in the midfield rotation at the Bernabeu, due to the presence of the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Mateo Kovacic, and now, Dani Ceballos.
Llorente did spend a successful stint on loan with fellow La Liga outfit Deportivo Alaves last season, during which he made 32 league appearances, though he has been informed that he is free to move on from Madrid this summer, according to AS.

As a result, Premier League outfit Arsenal have now joined Sevilla and Atletico Madrid in the race for the classy Spanish U21 regular, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger keen to add further guile to his squad at the Emirates.
Wenger is reported to be a long-term admirer of the talents of Llorente, and is preparing an offer to coax the youngster to North London before the close of the transfer market.
